HRH Princess Rahma bint El Hassan
Her Royal Highness Princess Rahma bint El Hassan, is the eldest daughter of Their Royal Highnesses Prince El Hassan bin Talal and Princess Sarvath El Hassan. HRH was born in Amman, Jordan on August 13th, 1969.
After primary school in Amman, Princess Rahma went to Sherborne School for Girls in the United Kingdom followed by Trinity College, Cambridge University. Her Royal Highness has a B.A. (Hons.) degree in Oriental Studies (1991) followed by an M.Phil. in International Relations (1992).
Princess Rahma works closely with 'El Hassan Youth Award' in Jordan. She is the President of the Jordan Gymnastics Federation, and also the President of Young Muslim Women's Associtation (YMWA), taking over this role from her mother in 2007.
Princess Rahma married Mr. Alaa Batayneh in July 1997 and they have two children.
